  • Individuals with disabilities face multiple barriers to accessing health care services. Few studies have been conducted in Latin America, and even fewer in Peru, where 10.4% of the population lives with a disability and where health services exhibit significant deficiencies that substantially affect the health of the most vulnerable groups.
  • The objective of this study is to determine the frequency of health care–seeking behavior and its associated factors among individuals with visual disabilities in Metropolitan Lima. In addition, the study aims to identify the most common barriers to accessing health services.
